Faith Evans, M.Ed., applauds Plato, who said, "You can learn more about a person in an hour of play than a lifetime of conversation." Owner of PlayFully, Inc. for 17 years, she is an experientially based process consultant/trainer. Faith specializes in action learning with small and large groups in the areas of relationship building, creativity, problem solving, leadership, communication and play for a purpose. . .and for no purpose! Based in Colorado, Faith travels extensively working with groups of all kinds and sizes…corporate, schools, children's summer camp staff.
Faith has over 25 years of educational based experience with adults and children. Her clients include a broad diversity of populations ranging from the corporate sector to schools to children's camps, with organizations as diverse as Jeep, The American Leadership Forum, The National Assoc. of Girl Scout Executives, and the survivors of the Oklahoma City bombing. Faith is a frequent workshop presenter and keynoter at national and regional conferences for the Association of Experiential Education (AEE) and the American Camping Association. Faith was honored in 2001 to recieve the Kurt Hahn Award from her AEE colleagues. She has received awards from ACA for her training and writing, but her most coveted award is the birth of her new granddaughter.
Faith's formal education includes a B.S. degree from Kansas State University and a M.Ed. degree from Texas Women's University. She has been an experiential trainer & consultant, a college instructor, a kindergarten teacher, and a camp program director and an author. Her book, “99 of the Best Experiential Corporate Games We Know” has just been published and another is incubating. Faith was a co-founder of Play for Peace, an organization that brings children from conflicting cultures together through cooperative play, to sew seeds of compassion for a more peaceful today and tomorrow. Faith continues to be a leader in the innovation of creative course designs and breakthrough experiences for people in the field of experiential learning, training and development.
