A Word About Teams...

Study after study shows that high performing teams are critical to a successful business. However, very few sources talk about what is needed to make a team work. We do. Typically, the first step to increase a team’s effectiveness is less about what to add than about what to remove. One of the first things to remove, or at least update, are the assumptions every team member has about their role on the team, the motivations of their fellow teammates, and the scope or importance of the team’s job. Bristlecone Learning teaches teams how to continually update assumptions so that everyone can devote their energy to the task at hand.
